LeBon is a newly opened farming business located in the southern side in Togo. The main objective of the business is to cultivate different types of food in need by the Togolese people. In this moment of industrial evolution, the majority of African farmers are still using the traditional due to lake of finance resources to acquire the farming materials needed to help them enlarge their farming capacity.   A group of African descendants living in United States of America after months of discussion saw this as an opportunity and decided to start a small farming business, thus the creation of LeBon. In the following passage, we will discussion the company’s mission statement and vision statement. We will define the guiding principles of LeBon in regard to culture, social responsibility and ethics. We will also present a brief analysis of how the vision, the mission and the values guide the organization’s strategic direction. The passage will finally evaluate how the organization addresses customers’ needs and critique how it achieves competitive advantage.
Just as everything else, the management team of LeBon began forming the development of their organization by setting a mission which would eventually lead to the company’s vision.   A firm’s mission statement embodies the business philosophy of the firm’s strategic decision makers, implies the image the firm seek to project, reflects the firm’s self-concept, and indicates the firm’s principal product or services areas and the primary customer needs the firm will attempt to satisfy (Pearce & Robinson, 2009). The founders of LeBon want to utilize their educational knowledge and their business expertise to help accrue the level of food produce across the country. Based on these thoughts the following mission statement was drafted. We, LeBon, are dedicated to provide high quality of variety of food to people everywhere in the country.
