I am committed. No matter what I do, I put my whole heart into it and refuse to give up until I have accomplished something worthwhile. This year, I was elected choir president, a position which was previously just a title and nothing more. I decided that needed to change, so I set about making plans and getting things going. So far I have coordinated a Race For the Cure choir team, and at the beginning of December we went “Caroling for Cans” and got over 300 cans of food to donate to the Capital Area Food Bank. Also, I am committed by being incredibly loyal to my friends and families, biological and otherwise. I have been going to the same summer camp for ten years now, and have created a network of people whom I love and would trust with anything.
I am creative. Music comes naturally to me and is a part of everything I do. My mom swears that I have been singing practically since I was born. I love listening to and creating all types of music, from classical to country and everything in between. Not only am I creative by being musically inclined, but I simply see the world differently than most people. I think of things nobody else does and come up with ideas that are beyond the obvious. My creativity is derived from my insatiable need to know new things. I am interested in basically everything. My knowledge base covers random subjects like synchronized swimming, 80s hair metal, dystopian literature and ancient Greek history. I draw from all of these sources to create ideas that are completely original and, dare I say, inspired
I am sassy, but not like being a smart mouth. I am very decided in my opinions and give them readily, though am not so closed-minded as to ignore the opinions of others. I am always willing to step up to a challenge. I stand my ground. My sass also distinguishes me as a vibrant and highly memorable personality.
