Teachers should act with integrity and honesty. It’s their responsibility to maintain teaching standards and display professional behaviour at all times. They should inspire and motivate young people by teaching innovatively, creatively and with a passion for their chosen field. They should also be open to constructive criticism and work with their peers to foster and promote a positive learning experience. Teachers should constantly be looking to update and enhance their knowledge in their chosen field by attending seminars and career development courses. Teachers should be able to plan and deliver courses or subjects in a way that includes all learning styles and be able to recognise when this changes.
