What type of things would you do if you were a manager to increase motivation, satisfaction and performance
- What would you do to make sure that each employee is performing at their best
- Since working with teams can be difficult at times, what would you do to make sure that the team ran smoothly
My answers:
1. If I was a manager what I would do to increase motivation is by offering extra paid days off or bonuses at the end of the year for those that really performed throughout the year. To increase satisfaction I would use survey's in order to ask everyone what areas of the company can use improvment's. I would also ask them how they rate the work flow and if they feel like there is enough promotional opportunities. By doing the surveys it would allow the company to make changes off of what the employees said.
2. What I would do make sure that each employee is performing at their best is by having a monthly meeting with each employee to go over how they are doing and to ask them what areas they need more help in such as extra training. Or if they need help in getting different tasks done.
3. What I would do to make sure that the team is running smoothly is by making sure that their is communication within the team. I would make a team charter that everyone would have to follow and agree to. I would make sure that if there was a team assignment that there are deadlines that everyone has to meet in order for there to be discussion and time to draw up the final product.
