Application: Assistant Project Manager
I am very much interested in the post, which I found on Teesside University’s careers site. I am looking to start a career in Project Management having completed my Degree earlier this year.   I have studied for my Degree part time and have worked in industry for over 8 years. I am seeking a new role as I feel as though I can further develop my skills and project experience.
I have attached a copy of my CV for your attention. I would like to highlight the following points that I feel are relevant to my application:
  * Project experience – I was lead project manager for a large £3M project on a Top Tier COMAH site meeting tight deadlines and dealing with various disciplines.

  * Team Leader – working in the maintenance team on another Top Tier COMAH site responsible for supervising a whole team of Mechanical Technicians that in times could be over 20 people.

  * Engineering management -   I am solely responsible for the Engineer management on my Asset this involves critical planning to ensure that routine inspections are carried out.  

In my 8 years experience in Industry I have worked on a number of major projects I have been a team member involved in Design, construction and commissioning. Having researched your company I am excited by the upcoming projects and opportunities you have in which I feel I can be a great asset.
