The Evening Express (cost approximately 50p)

There are several ways to find a room in shared accommodation. You may have to pay a small joining fee for the websites below. Consider looking in the local newspapers also for rooms – local papers are Evening Express and Press & Journal.

Alternative Places to Look for Accommodation
Estate agents and letting agencies are good for looking for one, two, and three plus bedroom properties. However they only advertise 4 or 5 weeks in advance, and will not have anything available if you are looking to secure a property a few months in advance of your moving in. Furthermore, they are very unlikely to let a tenant take a property without first having viewed the property. You may have to initially come to Aberdeen and stay in temporary accommodation and then start you search.
