In this story what happens, mum and dad split up which was very sad and heart breaking , it's up to em to sort this out by looking after vita and maxie which are her step sister and step brother maxie . the story ends by when it was next christmas day and he knocks at the door and there he arrives ... and I think he lives with them that's a nice happy ending but this time I'm changing the scenes...
The bit I want to change is when her dad told them the bad new about him leaving and going to be with a another girl which is his girlfriend her name is sarah ....
Also instead of happy ever after story by using a cliff hanger is more suitable   for the story as it will make the reader want to read more .... It will effect the story really well.
Also I wanted to change instead the dad split up , instead it could be the mum by cheating on the dad and going out   with someone, and the dad ran away from the kids and the children all alone in there house , the police find out and they have to be sent out to the care home as there stupid parents couldn't be bothered to care for them , and made them stay all by there self little children don't understand the diffculties they are managing but they surely do miss there parents eventhough what cruelness they have done...
Finally the ending could be by the mum finally arrves and trying to find there children and want to live them properly but unfortunately with a another man but the kids are still worried what might happen to them again so they have decided to stay back to the care home which they have made alot of friends and they are really happy delighted to be there ...
