Cause and Effect

To every action in the universe there is a reaction, whether it be crime and punishment, or love and happiness.   This idea is basic; every action you take will always have a consequence either good or bad. People who tend to work hard and prepare for their future, often have a bright one ahead of them. While negative tendencies on the other hand, like laziness and procrastination usually end in failure. There are many different examples of cause and effect but I will describe a few that I think are important and relatable.
Firstly, I think that a highly current and important example of cause and effect is global warming. Global warming is widely debated on its actual harm to the planet, but happens regardless. Global warming is an effect on the planet caused in theory due to the pollution of the earth’s atmosphere. The pollution is caused by factories, automobiles, and various other man-made products that release chemicals into the air. The effect is that these pollutants collect in the atmosphere and make a one way barrier for the heat that enters the atmosphere. This pollution keeps a lot of the incoming heat and radiation from leaving the earth much like a greenhouse. There is a lot of action being taken to change the earth’s predicament at this point, like pollution reduction in automobiles and factories. Hopefully people will start to realize that we need to think ahead of time of these effects before we cause them.
Another example of cause and effect is the situation I find myself in right now, being home this semester instead of being back up in Edinboro. I was going there to be an art teacher and I needed to keep a GPA of 3.0 which sadly I was unable to do. Not only did I fall short of that mark but I got too low of a GPA to even remain at the school. The only way I can get back is by doing well at CCAC and writing a letter to the dean pleading my case. The cause of me being...
