1. STATEMENT OF PROFIT AND LOSS –It is a standard financial document that sum up the total expenses and income made in the last six months. This would show the directors and managers of the company, the financial position of the business. Shows the profit we made in the last six months. It would help the directors to plan and analyzing the business in future.
2. CASH FLOW FORECAST- It is used to measure a company’s financial health. The finance director will prepare the statement using spreadsheet software; to show the amount to expect to spend and receive in the coming six months. It is also an analytical tool, measuring a business ability to cover its expenses.
3. STATEMENT OF FINANCIAL POSITION – The statement shows the assets and liabilities in the business. It also shows the amount of capital invested in the business. The document would also show details of payables and receivables. It will also help to highlight any issues with management of accounts receivables and credit control.
