1- Explain how own role fits within the delivery of the service provided?
My own work role is to looks after the children between the ages of 3 months to 2 years 9 months and care for their every individual needs. This includes supporting them, preparing their meals, feeding them, getting they changed, putting them down for sleeps if needed and helping children learn through play.
2- Explain the effect of own role on service provision? The effects of my own work role is giving them a friendly face, reassurance, support and a role model. This is giving them a person to look up to and see how they should behave and treat others.
3- Describe how own role links to the wider sector? My own work role links to the wider sector by having other people I work with having extra support for the children. We also have links to the pre-school the children may go to when they move on in their education and we also have links to the infant school which they might go to when they are old enough, they get to go for visits their and go to watch the infant child perform shows.
4- Describe the main roles and responsibilities of representative bodies that influence the wider sector? The roles and responsibilities of the representative bodies that influence the wider sector come in and the children get to know the person so when the children move up in their education they aren’t going to somewhere that they don’t know anybody. They have a job to let the children get use to them and build trust with them. This includes anybody that the children come into contact with which they may see later in life. For example;
* Health visitor- getting to know the child before they try to examine them.
* Social services- letting the children get use to them and they can find out information through play and building trust with the child. They also know not to keep questioning children.
* Nursery staff- staff that children may not know as well. For example the...
