      My nutritional habits have changed a lot and I try to eat much healthier now. I have noticed in the foods I eat they have lacked a lot nutrients because I use to eat a lot of junk food and fast food. I no longer eat out as much and have cut down a lot at eating junk food. I have learned to count my calories and eat small portions of food and drink plenty of water. I also work out at the gym at least two to three times a week. The pyramidtracker.gov is a great aid to help people with counting calories, protein fat and carbohydrates. I have started using this tool because so far it has helped me tremendously in losing weight. I have noticed that I have been consuming too much empty foods that really don’t have the right nutrients and vitamins that I need. If I do not change and get the correct nutrients and vitamins I need it will cause my weight to go up. So I am going to reverse this method and continue eating more healthy foods like fruits and vegetables. Vegetables would include: spinach, carrots, celery, brocellio and onions. Fruits can include bananas, oranges, strawberries, grapes, and peaches. It is best to avoid foods that are high in fat and acid like: French fries, chips, pork chops, fried chicken, beef, and sodas.


      I feel it is best that I include my family in my nutritional changes. By me changing my eating habits has made me feel better and gives me a boost of energy that I haven’t had since high school. I go to bed early and get up early in the morning. I do have much more time throughout the day which reduced my stress levels. With my new diet change and exercise change it helped my ability to accomplish more tasks. It is a great feeling to be known I am much more productive. I enjoy cooking but I had to change the way I eat.
