◾What are the advantages of having diversity in a collaborative learning environment?
I believe there are many advantages to having diversity in a collaborative learning environment. One advantage would be learning about different cultures. Also, you can learn about different people interests, religion, race, and ethnicity. I love getting to experience different foods, activities and different views. The world would be a boring place if there wasn’t a variety of people. In a collaborative learning environment we can learn about others and it may help me see things in someone else eyes. Having diversity is helps everyone understand each other rather it’s in a learning environment, household or job
◾How might factors such as diversity, attitude, learning, and work styles affect collaboration?
Diversity can affect collaboration because you may have people that have no interest in others people culture, ethnicity, race, and interests. Attitude can affect collaboration because someone may be stuck in their ways and don’t want to be open minded to others points. This can call the person to be upset and their emotions can take over. As far as learning, people are taught differently, we have attended different school, churches etc. This can cause many different opinions on topics. Works styles affect collaboration because we all have our different ways of how we do assignment or papers. Some people don’t want to change how they are used to doing things.
◾How does personal responsibility influence the work and success of a group?
