WHY I CHOOSE THE STORY?
The story about southwest China being hit by the worst flooding in a decade has been in the top Asia Pacific news for 2 weeks now.
It happened twice not once. When it happened last weekend I thought that it would be just a natural disaster phenomenon of flood and mud and landslides.
But when it happens a second time on 14 August 2010, I know it was not an incident to just be calm about. A lot of lives are loss, many are missing and a few others lost their homes.
There are number of People Republic of China are here in Singapore so we have to feel their loss and be aware of what is happening to the southwest part of their country.
