1.0 INTRODUCTION
For the proponent’s project, they will be making a payroll system for the subject company. BACOOR COMPUTER WORLD they think that this system will be the key to enhance and improve their old payroll system in order to give solution to all issue regarding in their manual payroll system. The payroll system consists of their process by which a business pays its employee for work performed during a specific period. A payroll system allows businesses to follow a set of series process in order to make timely correct payments and compliance with government regulations. This computerized payroll system can speed up work in order to be competitive. Computer as a necessity provides people an immediate job and quicker output. And because of this, business process can be facilitated with just a press in the keyboard, adding up with log-in log-out process for security purposes. On the other hand, this project limits only to the proposed enhancement for Bacoor Computer World Computerized Payroll System. This system can’t be accesses by unauthorized personnel.
1.1 BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
On January 20, 2007 Ms. Sanita Robantes build a simple family business which she named as “Bacoor Computer World”. Bacoor Computer World is a wholesale and retail computer store located at Panapaan IV, Bacoor Cavite. They sell computer parts and accessories, repair computers, upgrades system units and install legal softwares. Years passed and current they have already six branches here in Cavite. Located at Dasmarinas, GMA, Tanza, Rosario, Imus and the main branch is in Bacoor. Bacoor Computer World has five to six employees, consist with two computer technicians, two sales staff, and the branch manager.
The Payroll System is used to maintain a list of employee’s names, addresses and employees information and to interactively calculate and print pay slip. Payroll is the sum of all financial records of salaries of an employee, wages,...
