Background of the Study
The study we propose is all about Online Hotel Reservation. Online hotel reservations are a popular method for booking hotel rooms. Guests can book rooms on a computer by using online security to protect their privacy and financial information. The company we chose is Cozy Resort Hotel, We choose the hotel because they are using manual reservation and we want to apply new method on how to reserve a room using internet. This are the problems both receptionist and guests encountered like so much time consumed, slow process of reservation, low in security, lots of manual labor is required for manual record keeping, retrieval of guest records is difficult and files are prone to theft unauthorized modification to low data security levels and standards.
Statement of the Objectives
The main objective in our proposed system is to provide a web site that can allow a user to search and reserve a hotel room or cancel his/her reservation over the internet at any time and real time information of availability of rooms. The study also aimed to track customers to avoid double bookings, no longer is there a need to keep mounds of paper or lose customer details, and easy to use. Multi-users, tracks customers and more importantly help keep the repeat customers.
Significance of the study
Customers are our main beneficiary in this proposed study. We want to them to make their transaction fast and easy by using our online reservation system and this will also help the hotel management to make their transaction easy reliable and secure reservations without...
