The Criminal Justice system is made up of three major components they are Law enforcement, Department of Corrections, and the Court System each one of these share many equally important parts to the Criminal Justice System. They all work very hard together to resolve criminal cases. The Law Enforcement is the one who suppose to up hold the laws in there country. They could also be responsible to set the laws they can work for a variety of organizations the most visible place for them to work would be the local police department or the sheriff’s office. They have lots of responsibly to make sure that the laws are enforced and to keep there county safe. The Dept of Corrections are officers are ones who work in jails and prisons they are responsible for overseeing individuals that have been arrested and who are awaiting trial. These officers supervise activities of inmates, they search the inmates for contraband items and report on inmate conduct these officers have lots of responsible for the inmates and they have to make sure they are in control of the inmate’s safety as well. The Court System is where the judge is in control he or she is to make sure that the law is followed even supervise what happens in there court room. It is the judge who decides whether or not the inmate could be released before trial or not. The judge is the one who makes sure there in control at all times in the court system. They also have lots of responbilty just like the others do they also have to make sure that the law is enforced and followed at the full extent. All of these components have a big job to do by making sure that the law is enforced at all times.
The structure of the government relates to the criminal justice in lots of ways like the different agencies that they have to work they work really hard in harmony to serve a purpose.
