CYP Core 3.4 1.1 Describe the factors to take into account when planning healthy and safe indoor and outdoor environments and services.
There are many different factors to consider when planning a healthy and safe indoor and outdoor environment and services. One factor is the individual needs of the child such as different needs due to age and abilities. For example in baby room which I am based in there are two different sections of the room. The bigger side is for the babies that are more mobile and starting to walk around the room. Whereas the smaller side is for the less mobile babies so they are not being walked all over by the mobile children.
Another factor would be children with specific needs such as sensory impairments. Some children who have hearing impairments may not be able to understand explanations about safety.
