1. What is meant by diversity?
That thing (i.e. people) are different and varied a lots of ways. For example by way of their gender, age, religion, ethnicity, etc.
2. Describe the community you live in. Highlight some of the variations you may observe in terms of:
• Interests
• Beliefs
• Ages
• Lifestyles
• Personal, social and cultural identities.
I have observed the following in my community that:
• Interest: some people stay at home and watch TV where as some go to the local social club or pub.
• Belief: I didn’t really observe any religious beliefs.
• Ages: I believe that most people in my community are on average aged between 20 to 70
• Personal, social and cultural: I think that most people in my community are working class and quite a few have young families.
3. Explain how the variations in question 2 contribute to the diversity of the community.
Because some are different in gender and may have a different sexual preference.
Some have different interests and may have come from a different country, they all have a different in pack on the contribution to the community because some will be working in the community generating income for the community others will be bring children up in the community, other will be doing neighbour watch and others...
