Erikson’s eight stages of development are the stages life, which helps in the development in a person’s ego.   The first stage is infancy which starts at birth and ends at 18 months this is when a infant feeling like trust and mistrust Second stage is early childhood is the second stage which is the ages 18 months to 3 years old which is the development stage when a child learn self control and courage.   The third stage is the play age, which is between the ages from 3 to 5 years of age.   During this stage the child learning how to take initiative in creating different play environment.   The fourth stage is the school age stage, which is the age 6 to 12 years old this is when a child is during this stage he/she is developing an environment and using their social skills to communicate among their peers.   The fifth stage is the adolescence, which is between the ages of 12 to 18 years of age.   During this stage a child transform to a teenager which helps indentify one’s identity.   The six stage is the young adulthood, which is between the ages of 18 to 35 During this stage a teenager learns how to become a adult by seeking independency and intimacy, which is affiliated with love.   Stage seven of Erikson’s stages of development is middle adulthood, which is between the ages of 35 to 55 years of ages.   This stage of life is also known as the “ Mid life Crisis” which is when an individual fined it difficult finding new meanings and purpose.   The last stage of Erikson’s eight stages of development is late adulthood, which is the age between 55 to Death.   During this stage an a person will learn how to overcome the middle adulthood life and learn how to detach themselves from life and learn how to accept death which is the end of life.
