How do ethics influence human behavior in organizations? What can you do to be a good corporate citizen and use ethical behavior?
I believe that people in general start off with heart and mind in the right place and they know the difference between right and wrong. Ethics within an organization/corporation is decided by the top heads. The influence is monkey see monkey do. Although, the chain of command is in place; the employees or members are becoming more and more like robots. The “worker bees” may not like what they have to do in order to keep a job, the economy is bad so everyone holds on the position held to make ends meet and to survive.
Most corporate citizens have been desensitized to the community and the environment. The main focus is money, money, money. As we all know, money can create a rise and fall effect in corporations.
