How and where community members of the community interact such as festivals, grocery stores, and community events
Atlanta is a city that hosts many festivals. Atlanta has the Atlanta Jazz Festival, which is located in a park and local and national jazz artists play for a weekend. Residents are strongly encouraged to pack a lunch and come and enjoy the music in the park. Another popular festival is The Arts Festival held at Piedmont Park where local arts and nationwide artists display their talents of different types of art work. The different types of art work can include paintings, pictures, vases, sculptures, and etc., just to name a few. There is the Midtown Music Festival that is held during a weekend with various arts. The music includes but not limited to rock, rhythm and blues, country and bluegrass, gospel, and etc. There are several stages so the resident will have to make a plan and travel from stage to stage to see he or she’s favorite artists. The festivals provides for the community members to interact and socialize with each other while taking in the music and arts.
Atlanta has several grocery stores available for the community members. The different grocery stores are Kroger’s, Publix, Ingles, Whole Foods, and Harry’s Farmer’s Market, Wayfield, Save –A-Lot, and Harris Teeter. The grocery stores have a range of specialties for the community members. Whole Foods and Harris Teeter provide many healthy choices for the community members to choose from. Kroger’s, Publix, and Ingles have a variety of items for the community members to choose from. At Kroger’s and Ingles the community members can use a frequent buyer’s card to get extra deals of price reduction off certain items featured each week.
