1. Introduction.
The aim of my essay is to look at different learning needs and learning styles and how they relate to learning in complex learning environments in particular Mersey Care's recovery college. I am also going to analyse my own personal learning needs as a facilitator and reflect on my micro teach. Based on everything I have discussed and learnt I will plan a relevant teaching session. I will look at the various tools and learning styles I can use a producer and facilitator of recovery college courses.

There are many things to consider in ensuring the transfer of learning into practice. Unlike traditional education establishments the recovery college is unique in that it provides recovery focused courses which aim to provide education to students and facilitate their recovery journey, giving people back hope, control over their life and creating more opportunities. The recovery college involves a redefinition of the purpose of services from reducing symptoms to rebuilding lives (Perkins, Repper, Rinaldi and Brown, 2012) .
