Analyzing Psychological Disorders!
I would love to express a “Thank you” for giving me the opportunity and taking the time out of your busy schedule to talk to me about the psychologist position. I really appreciate your time and consideration in interviewing me for this position. With the assignment that you have assigned me I will try my hardest to break down the causes and treatments of schizophrenia. Then I will try from a bio psychologist point of view I will try to translate two out of the four cases that has been assigned to me.
Part A; Causes and Treatment of Schizophrenia
When it comes to schizophrenia it is considered the splitting of psychic functions and the breakdown of integration amongst emotion, thought and action. With schizophrenia it is more than likely associated with the widespread abnormalities, which includes an abnormally small cerebral cortex and abnormally large cerebral ventricles. With Schizophrenia it attacks as little as about one percent of the population that it typically begins in adolescence or even early childhood and it is most commonly associated with the notion of madness. Since schizophrenia is commonly heard of there is still no clear when it comes to understanding of what exactly it is, because of its symptoms is complex and frequently changes during progression of the disorder. Even the common symptoms of schizophrenia are bizarre inappropriate delusions brings out hallucinations such as imaginary voices incoherent thoughts such as inconsistent thinking or belief in supernatural forces and odd behavior such as talking rhymes or even periods with no movements. With the chances of developing schizophrenia is about 10 percent for those who have a close biological relative with this disorder as well as fraternal twins, whereas with the similarity rate for the identical twins is forty five percent.
