Future of Healthcare Reform
No one is aware of how the rising healthcare costs and laws will be reformed. Nobody knows how this will ultimately affect the insurance companies along with insurance premiums. A lot of the stake holders as well as the private sector are stating that the time has come for the healthcare industry to make effective changes. (U.S. Department of Health and Human services, 2013)
We will need to rethink and start over in the design and delivery of healthcare in order to meet the needs of the patients in the community. By understanding the demographics of patients, the trends, he many diseases and the environmental and economic challenges, we will be on our way to making great strides in healthcare reform. Over the next 30 years the healthcare industry will need to focus on everything from the technology that it has in place, skills and education of their employees and also the types of facilities that are present in the communities that they serve. In that universe, would be a community based organization that would serve as a huge supporter in the economy and also an important asset of financial growth. This would be a true healthcare system, a true population health system which would meet the needs of the community and have knowledge of the continuous demographic, complex diseases, hardships and trends. In order to get started, we need to have the information in order to understand how that healthcare system needs to be set up.
