GENERAL INFORMATION
Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City is a casino hotel located in the marina district of Atlantic City New Jersey. The original property opened in 1980 and has since added four towers, the Atrium(1986), the Marina(1997), Bayview(2002) and the Warterfront( 2008). Currently, the hotel has 2,590 guest rooms in five separate towers, 160,000 square feet of casino space, Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa, nine restaurants including a buffet, quick bites and two celebrity chef run , showroom, convention meeting spaces, retail stores, the Viking cooking school, and an indoor tropical oasis known as The Pool After Dark nightclub. The Waterfront Convention Center with an additional 100,000 square feet of meeting space is scheduled for completion in 2015. Harrah’s has a Northstar rating of four stars.
This property is one of four in Atlantic City, owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment Corporation. Harrah’s direct competitors, also located in the marina district are Borgata and Golden Nugget. Competition also exists between its sister properties, Caesars Atlantic City, Bally’s Atlantic City and House of Blues at Showboat.
One of Harrah’s major amenities is the presence of welcoming, warm and friendly staff that are ready to assist guests as they arrive.
The various types of rooms available are king, two queens, suites, adjoining, handi-cap accessible, smoking and non- smoking.
