LEGISLATION:
You are responsible for. Your employer is responsible for.
Taking care that you do not
endanger yourself or others who
May be affected by your work.
Following the health and safety policies and procedures at your workplace.
Not damaging any machinery or PPE provided for your safety.
Taking care of machine guards and reporting any problems. Providing you with safe ways of carrying out work tasks.
Making sure that the equipment you use when handling, storing and transporting materials and substances is safe and without health risks.
Providing information, instruction, training and supervision to ensure health and safety.
Maintaining the workplace, including means of entry and exit, in a safe condition.
Providing a safe and healthy working environment with adequate facilities and arrangements for employee’s welfare.

Maintained.
Inspected.
Used only by people trained correctly. Not using equipment you are not trained to use.

Wearing appropriate PPE. That all equipment used is:
Suitable for use.
Maintained and regularly inspected.
Used only by people who have received training.
Have suitable safety measures, e.g. protective devices, markings and warnings.
