Every company has their own particular hiring process. It will begin with the need for a new employee. A position will open or be created and then need to be filled. Once the decision has been made to hire, the next step is to put out an advertisement. Many companies are overloaded with resumes, and it is difficult to look at each and every one. One of the ways to weed out candidates quickly is by giving specific directions when applying. If the person interested in the job does not follow directions, they are immediately disqualified. Employers often think that if the applicant cannot follow simple directions, they will not be able to handle everyday tasks. This process may take awhile but it will help save time later.
