Countries of origin Hinduism is thought to be the most ancient religion known to man and originated in India. The religion of Buddhism originated in northern India, to counter Hinduism. Confucianism was founded in China, Confucius was born in LU. Daoism is the indigenous religion of China.

Many faces of God are recognized in one divine reality. God as an entity is not recognized. Buddha provided the people with the path to enlightenment. An end to suffering can be found by following the teachings of Buddha and Dharma and Sangha. Wisdom is unique in this religion and rank defines proper action. To be in alignment with nature is the source of right action and strength.
Nature of God We are all considered a part of God’s divine power and must strive for enlightenment. In a relaxed mind the divine nature of God is known. The way of nature and the source of life is Tao. Tao is the way of nature and the source of life.
Texts Vedas are the oldest known surviving texts. The Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path will lead to enlightenment. The Four Books(Si Shu)

(sacred elements & their meaning) Purification is the part of many rituals, which include receiving blessings and seeking enlightenment. For all forms of this religion the central practice is religion. Sacred texts and sounds are recited and mudras, or symbolic hand gestures, are used.
