As they were packing for their hunting trip, they all had many questions such as “do we have good directions”, “have we packed the right clothing”, “hopefully we have the right hunting supplies.”   Hunting trips can be exciting, but also downright just suck if people don’t take the time to prepare. There are several things people should know in order to go on a hunting trip. People should always know where they are going, what kind of clothes to take, and what kind of hunting supplies are needed.
The first thing people should always know is where they are going. People always need to have directions if they have not been there before. Also people need to always carry a map just in case they lose the directions or the directions are wrong and they get lost. Another good thing to have is other people to follow that have been to this place before. If not everybody knows where to go make sure they can follow someone who does or they have a set of directions to follow. People should always make sure there is a place to stay if they don’t have a hunting cabin or lodge. Nobody ever wants to sleep in the truck it might get cold depending on the weather.
Also, people need to make sure to pack the right kind of clothing for the trip. If they are hunting in the winter everybody should take heavy clothing. Coveralls, coats, and long sleeves are the most common thing to wear on a winter hunt. If they are hunting in the summer time light clothing would be appropriate. Some people are ok with hunting in shorts, but most people wear jeans just to keep their legs from getting tore up by brush and thorns. Also t-shirts are the best thing for hunting in the summer it keeps the shoulder from getting to bad bruised. Another thing that will help decide what to take is the weather. People should take five minutes and look at the forecast for where they are going. If people want to pack a little bit of everything that’s perfectly fine too it never hurts to over pack....
