Information Systems and Software Applications
Organizational departments have their way of organizing data or information. To do so they used different types of software created to meet the need of each company and services. I choose finance, human resources and accounting. In this paper we will know what those software applications are and what type of services do they provided.

According to © 2010 Merriam-Webster, Incorporated (2010) “finance is the system that includes the circulation of money, the granting of credit, the making of investments, and the provision of banking facilities” (Finance, para. 1). One of the best and popular finances software applications is Mint. Mints offers support for investment accounts and allow users to create a personal budget. The Human Resources company is the one that keeps track of their employees information such as everyone address, job title, date of hire, salary and more. The Internet offers different software applications that support the human resources. One such application is called iCIMS and according to © Copyright iCIMS 2000-2010   (2000-2010), “iCIMS is a tracking and recruiting software that puts HR & Recruiting Professionals in the best position to make the strongest hiring and employee management decisions” ( Applicant Tracking & HR Recruiting Software, para. 1).. This particular software application is able to keep track of the entire employee roster and all the necessary information that the company would need to organize and cut time and costs to run effectively its business. The accounting department of a company would use an information system, or accounting information system (AIS) to help maintain financial records such as sales and purchase information.
