Wallace (2011) cites that it is important to consider learning activities that are accessible to all learners when planning and preparing any lesson, thus avoiding any learner feeling excluded, either directly or by implication.
I agree that no student should be made to feel an outsider in a teaching group or conspicuous by their difference. This assignment looks at how initial assessments are carried out to identify their learning needs and barriers. My student group are 16-24 year old males with mixed ability, I will be using a 16 year old student who receives learning support as my case study, and will show I differentiate my teaching to accommodate his needs, ensuring he works in an all-inclusive environment. I will also evaluate the resources I use to show how technology supports his learning progress.
