1. What are the duties and job responsibilities associated with the position held by the individual you interviewed?
As s Senior Director, Reimbursement Strategy, I am responsible for leading the Reimbursement Strategy (RST) and service line. I mainly focus on leading the business and associates in conducting a variety of reimbursement and health policy initiatives. I also work with senior management to implement strategic and tactical goals that are designed to grow the business unit and overall business.
2. What are the types of knowledge, skills, and abilities that are needed to successfully accomplish the job responsibilities?
The qualifications an individual needs to have for this position are :a Masters Degree or 10+ years of relative experience; a proven ability to contribute to a team and to deliver results on time, with the available resources, and within budget ; the ability to work on multiple projects and with multiple individuals simultaneously; the ability to maintain high quality output; knowledge of the pharmaceutical/biotechnology/medical device industry and experience with issues surrounding the marketing of pharmaceutical products, including issues surrounding coding, coverage, and reimbursement of those products.
