An individual’s work atmosphere determines the way workers within an organization behave, interact, and react to situations and tasks that take place at work. Easy ways to create a positive atmosphere include having a vibrant work area with fun and loving people. The colours used in an office, building, room, etc do have an impact on the people working in them. For example, it would be a good idea to incorporate yellow or orange walls in an office environment because would help increase creativity and fun whereas in a hospital blue walls would help patients stay calm and relaxed. For both of these situations it would be a bad idea to use black as a wall colour because it would send out a heavy vibe leading to people wanting to be alone, gives dark thoughts and makes workers tired and sleepy. A simple choice of colour could easily motivate employees to work harder and have fun along the way. If workers are enjoying themselves within their workspace and are happy with what they are spending majority of their time doing it will lead to them being satisfied with their job. Fun and loving people create an atmosphere that individuals enjoy working in and having caring coworkers will create a positive environment as well as making difficult tasks not look insurmountable. With the help of considerate employees all jobs will not seem as hard because there is a team of people ready to work and complete tasks along with you, therefore you are not alone in any situation. The level of interaction used between coworkers is important to have a positive work environment. It is essential for employees to communicate with each other so they do not feel like strangers working together but the interaction should not increase to an amount where personal matters and free time are being discussed more than the tasks that are essential to the organization and need to be completed.
