Martin Luther King   Jr. was a prominent figure in the Civil Rights movement in the United States. His words have influenced many other writers and activists. Here are a few of his famous words. "A nation or civilization that continues to produce soft minded men purchases its own spiritual death on an installment plan”. "A riot is the language of the unheard”. "Everybody can be great, because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace.             Dr. King was born on Tuesday, January 15, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia. His parents are Reverend Martin Luther King Sr. and Alberta Williams King. He has an older sister, Willie Christine King, and a younger brother, Alfred Daniel Williams King. King was born into a financially secure middle class family in a poor black community.
