THE CHURCH’S RESPONSIBILITY TO THE SOCIETY:
(A BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVE)

INTRODUCTION
Responsibility of the church is when the church moves outside its walls to engage in the difficult issues facing our community and the world. Asking the question how can we lead our congregation to make positive contribution to the society, The mission and responsibility as the church is “Making disciple of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world, church definition works goes a long way in helping as see that our faith is not just about us, it is about making positive difference in a troubled world. How can the ministry of the church change the society?
      The charge gives to us by Jesus in( Matthew 28:19-20) is clear “Go therefore and make disciple of all the nation, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit, Teaching them to observe all thing that I have commanded you, And also the same command was echo in the book of (Mark 16:15).
      So the Church Responsibility to Society is for each member of the church to live a life worthy of the call in order to reach their own first and in turn impact the world a round them only then can our families be saved.
      Our communities put back together our nations healed and our world impacted by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Society begins in the homes of each individual member of the church, Luke’s summary of the great commission call to preach the gospel to all nations, however it also command to begin in Jerusalem first in other words, the commission begin at home.
      (Matthew 16:18) “And I tell you that you are peter and on this rock I will build my church, and the gate of Hades will not overcome it” means the rock of which Jesus would build his church has been identified as..
