The definition of aerobic exercise is using the same large muscle group, rhythmically, for a period of time from 15 to 30 minutes while keeping a heart rate of 60 - 80% of your maximum heart rate. Aerobic activity is a long exercise but is relatively low intensity. Aerobic means to have or to use oxygen. If you are doing an aerobic exercise you should be able to carry on a short conversation with someone. If you can't do that then you are probably doing an anaerobic exercise. Aerobic exercise helps you get a healthier heart and lungs because it makes your heart use oxygen more efficiently. this will make it easier for your muscles to receive oxygen while doing physically activities. Some people think aerobic exercise can cure heart disease. This is not true. While exercise can help prevent heart disease it can't cure it. Other benefits of aerobic exercise are control of body fat, increased energy, toned muscles, decreased tension, better sleep, and increased stamina. It can also improve your sexual life, which ultimately makes your life more enjoyable. For every 30 pounds of body fat you lose you are theoretically supposed to gain 1 inch of penis length.
Aerobic exercises can also have a positive effect on your brain. You think more clearly, and more often. It can also help decrease depression and anxiety.
