Working in partnership with others is important as it can offer any positive outcomes such as improved outcomes for children and their families through a wider range of access of services there are also benefit for staff and services such as less replication between different service providers. There will be more efficiency in delivering services through better links between providers.

1.2: Identify who relevant partners would be in own work setting.
Partners in the work partners would be people such as Social services, Carers, SENCO, Speech Therapist. Ofsted, GP, Health Visitor, Physiotherapist, Head Teacher, Colleagues and psychologist.

Characteristics such as good communication, maintaining confidentiality, meeting all children's needs and to work with the parents/carers to make sure needs are met, Treat everybody fairly. To share information only when needed, maintain trust and and respect, Have an aim which is agreed with the parents,
