INTRODUCTION
On-the-Job Training is one of the most important part of a school's curriculum. Aside from being able to expose students to an actual work setting, it also allows them to create affiliations with different companies.
Significance of the On-the-Job-Training
By being part of an on-the-job training, a student becomes aware of the hardships of his or her future career. He or she is exposed to the real world. Through the supervision of an experienced staff, the trainee will be given specific tasks tailored for beginners. Their trainer will guide the students by giving them feedbacks and correcting their errors. Upon completion, the trainee is expected to develop his confidence and professional skills.
Objectives of the On-the-Job-Training
  1. To provide opportunities for the students to apply the theories and principles they have learned in the school to actual work situation;
  2. To allow the students to gain first-hand insight and information about   the profession/career they are going into;
  3. To make the students appreciate the value and importance of hard work;
  4. To provide opportunities for the students to gain   knowledge, skills and value that will make them better person and will give the greater chances for employment;
  5. To provide opportunities for the students to learn from and network with experienced professionals;
  6. To provide opportunities for the students to learn how to handle a new challenges and complex task or problems; and
  7. To help the students identify future career directions.
Time and Place of the On-the-Job Training
The OJT was conducted at Boamax Philippines Technologies Inc. in Cavite Export Processing Zone, Rosario, Cavite from December 03, 2014 to January 28, 2015.
