Introduction:
In this course we will be exploring some of the most difficult questions that have troubled mankind since we began to walk upright. What does it mean to be a human being? What is the mind? Where is the mind? How does the mind interact with the body? Do we have free will? Why do people act as they do? Why do they act at all? Can we trust our senses?
This is a course about you; who you are; what you are; why you do the things you do, and how you do them. Every chapter in our text is the subject of its own college course. As a result we will be moving quickly across a very broad discipline. I hope that you will find something amazing in each topic that we will cover.
Welcome to PSY!
