Create a booklet about safeguarding, which use as reminder for people who work in the care profession. The booklet must:
* Identify sign and symptoms of different types of abuse.
* Explain the correct action to take if you suspect an individual is being abused.
* Explain the correct action to take if an individual tells you they are being abused.
* Identify how to ensure that any evidence of abuse is kept safe.
* Identify the national policies that set out requirements for safeguarding individuals.
* Identify the local and organisational systems for safe guarding.
* Explain the roles of different agencies and professionals that are involve in safe guarding individuals
* Identify source of advice, support and information to help care workers understand their own role in safeguarding.
Sign and Symptoms of different types of Abuse
Physical abuse
Unexplainable causes of
* Cuts

* Bruises
* Burns
* Grip marks
* Black eyes
* Unusual pattern or location of injury
Sexual Abuse
* Pain, itching or bruises around breasts or genital area
* Torn, stained or bloody underclothing
* Sexually transmitted diseases such as venereal disease
* Vaginal/anal bleeding
* Depression, withdrawal from regular activities, fear, anxiety
Others signs are not so easy to spot for example they might have depression, lack of sleep because of fear they will come back, pregnancy and many more. It can also affect them later in life especially when the abuse has stopped, they won’t feel they can trust people or partners which will affect them socially.
