1.1 Describe the duties and responsibilities of own work role
It is my responsibilities to communicate effectively with the service user and the family, using appropriate infection control procedures.it is my responsibilities to assist the service user with their daily needs, like grooming and meal preparation and be able to identify the risks to health and chemical hazards.
It is also my responsibilies to follow my work place code of practice, I have to follow the rules of health and safely in my work place.
1.2 Explain expectations about own work role as expressed in relevant standards
The code of practice in my work place say I must protect the right and promote the interest of my service user, promote the independence of my service user,
I must be accountable for the quality of my work and take responsibility for maintaining, I must respect the right of the service user at all time. I must promote independence of the service user while protecting them from harm or danger. The code of practice in my work place states that I must protect the rights and promote the interests of service users and carers , Strive to establish and maintain the trust and confidence of service users and carers, Promote the independence of service users whilst protecting them as far as possible from danger or harm, Respect the rights of service users whilst seeking to ensure that their behaviour does not harm themselves or other people, Uphold public trust and confidence in social care services and be accountable for the quality of their work and take responsibility for maintaining and improving their knowledge and skills.
