Known world wide for delicious refreshing beverage, our team has selected PepsiCo North America for our final project. Mr. Caleb Bradham, a pharmacist, founded PepsiCo in 1902 to compete with Coca Cola, the dominant competitor in the industry. Since then, PepsiCo has been a world leader in the beverage market as well as the snack food industry.
PepsiCo Norths’ mission is to be the world's premier consumer product company focused on convenient foods and beverages. They seek to produce financial rewards to investors as they provide opportunities for growth and enrichment for their employees, business partners and communities in which they operate. Attractive qualities about PepsiCo North that were found in their mission statement is the promise to have integrity, strive to be fair, and be honest; knowing that this company holds themselves personally and corporately accountable for everything they do is refreshing.
The company adopted a vision put into action through programs and a focus on environmental stewardship, activities to benefit society, and a commitment to build shareholder value by making PepsiCo a truly sustainable company.
In the 60’s PepsiCo began to shift its image with the “Pepsi Generation” campaign. Instead on focusing on the product, the campaign focused on the user making it hip and cool to drink Pepsi. The six guiding principles to help Pepsi’s new generation uphold its commitment to its stakeholders are:

• Sell only products we can be proud of
• Speak with truth and candor
• Win with diversity and inclusion
• Balance short term and long term
• Respect others and succeed together
