I. Introduction:
The human resources management industry is projected to grow 13 percent from 2012 to 2022, about as fast as the average for all occupations. As new companies form and organizations expand their operations, they will need more human resource staff to oversee and administer their programs. The work force is rapidly changing within an organization. Human resource management must be prepared to deal with the effects of the changing work force. That means understanding the implications of globalization, work-force diversity, changing skill requirement, and corporate downsizing.

1. HR managers need to ensure that employees have the knowledge, skills, and cultural adaptability so that they can be available to handle global assignments.
