Abstract
Steinberg's triarchic theory of intelligence focuses on three different approaches to intelligence. The first is the componential element, which is the analytic aspect of intelligence and refers to how easily and well people can process information. The second is the experiential element, which determines how people approach familiar tasks and one in which people think originally and creatively. The third is called the contextual element, this is a practical aspect where a person sizes up a particular situation and decides what to do about it. Sternberg believes that most people possess all three of these elements and some form. He believes that some people are better at certain elements than others. In this paper, I will discuss my own personal career goals and how they relate to these elements, as well as mention a career I would not choose and its relationship.

I would use the experiential element to use the knowledge that I've already gained from my own education and from work experience and life experience to come up with different ways to help a client. Each individual is different, and would therefore require one to be creative when...
