The Ordinary WorldWhere does your hero’s journey begin? | Sara sees on the news that her best friend, Anna, is dead. (but it isn’t actually Anna who is dead). |
The Call to AdventureWhat happens to set your hero on her journey? | Sara gets a call the next day after the news and it is anonymous. The caller tells Sara that her friend is alive and proves it to her. The caller tells Sara she has three days before Anna dies. |
Entering The UnknownWhat is the new world your hero enters? | Sara has to track down the assailant before he kills her best friend. She has the help of a private investigator. |
Supernatural Aid/ Meeting with the Mentor/ Allies and HelpersWho is going to help your hero on the journey?How does your hero meet these helpers? | Sara hires a private investigator to help her find her best friend. The assailant covers his tracks by leaving fictitious clues to where he wants them to believe where Anna is. |
Road of TrialsWhat are some obstacles your hero and allies must overcome? | Not knowing what the guy has planned. They don’t know what kind of traps where set up at these “clues”. They don’t know what kind of danger they are putting themselves into. |
Supreme OrdealWhat is the climax of your hero’s journey? | They find out that the clues are driving them away from her best friend. They use the clues and a cell phone to track him down. |
Magic Flight/ Master of Two Worlds/ Restoring the WorldHow does your hero get home?What happens once the hero is home? | Sara and the private investigator track down the assailant and find Anna. They arrest the assailant and go home. Sara helps Anna through all of her anxiety as she is recovering from the kidnapping. |
