Know the structure of education from early years to post-compulsory education.
Guidance

To achieve this question, you will need to provide answers to the following questions
a) For this question you will need to include the following –
• The age range of children in Early Years education?
• The entitlement (number of hours)
• The provision (settings) Children can attend.
• Some detail on the EYFS in your country.
Your answer should be in your own words and be approx. 200 words in total.
b) Here you will need to include the following details to ensure this is fully covered • Name the different types of schools that children and young people could attend, e.g, state,
voluntary, academies. Explain how these are governed.
• Identify the stages of education that all children will attend
Your answer should be completed in approximately 200 words and by your own work.
c) What are the post 16 options for young people and adults?
Here you will need to identify and provide a brief explanation of the different options now
available for post 16’s. Ensure you use your own words. This should be approx. 150 words.
