Scream For Degrassi!
What has our society come to these days? Everywhere we look, violence is present; in the street, back alleys, school, and even at home. Even if one might be pacifist violence will seep its way into our homes through the television. Some children that see violence on television are pulled into its harmful deceptions of problem solving.
Thousands of fans around the world demand that Degrassi does not stop making episodes. Teenagers love this show because they can relate it to their lives inside and outside of school. The popular TV show has several conflicts and a never ending suspense. Romantic couple and attractive students keep the viewers interested and wanting more. Degrassi has so many fans because the show is similar to the viewer’s life, it keeps teenagers at the edge of their seat, and the romantic couples keeps people really into the show.
People enjoy Degrassi because they can compare the character’s lives to their own. The show allows people to discuss whatever problem that is going on and use their experience to guess what’s going to happen next. Teenagers also find ways to solve or prevent problems at school or outside of school by watching Degrassi. Watching something that has been done or happen in their life on television tells the viewer that things happen for a reason and the show helps them get through it.
