In today’s society the social issue abortion is a one of the biggest topic. The reason I chose this topic is because of its major impact on this generation and the precautions it has. By definition an abortion is the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting in, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus. The results are basically the elimination of a developing human being inside his/hers mothers’ womb. Today’s society has embraced this idea more and more than ever before. Restating, this issue is a constant battle that has not resulted in one final decision agreed from both parties. The results are in comparison to a never ending story, as much we, as a society, desire an answer to this issue there simply is one but majority who do not want to accept or ignore.
Most of who agree upon this concept are, politically speaking, democrats and most of the young generation. Like stated before, this idea has been developing for quite some time; however, it has erupted as one if not the most controversial topic in the United States. Statistically speaking majority of those who participate in an abortion are unmarried women from the range of about 17-29 year olds. The reason for this is because of pre-mature thoughts or absent thoughts of the after math of unprotected sex. As a result, a young girl finds herself with the decision to either keep the baby or abort it. It has become such a common epidemic that hearing about an abortion isn’t shocking as it once was. As much as this may be shocking to many, in reality it is not. In America alone, abortions are very common among big cities than in small towns nationwide.
Biblically speaking, abortions are just another evil result of our sinful ways. As the definition regarded abortion as the death of an embryo or fetus; stating the actual death of a living human being.
