Introduction
Many people have applied for the degree of Master in Business Administration (MBA), some students argue that this degree does not provide them with the useful skills to achieve successful career. However, some students believe that people with an MBA degree are more successful in the business world. According to Feldman (2007), with regards to managerial competencies, the employees consider that the people with an MBA education possess better knowledge about general business function and better behavioral competencies than non-MBA candidates. In this essay, I will state the MBA’s value of gaining knowledge, the MBA’s value of job application and the disadvantage of MBA degree. And then, I will draw a conclusion about the whole essay.
MBA’s value of gaining specialize knowledge
The purpose of students to apply for the MBA program is to gain more specialise knowledge about management for their future job and job promotion. For example, people would apply to a part-time MBA program study to improve themselves. During that time, they would use the knowledge they learn to deal with the problem they currently faced. Yet, the knowledge they have learned is not always updated, because now the world is global market, things change easily and quickly, the material in the course could not update immediately, so students could not use the skills they have learned in progr345amme easily. (Bruce, G. D., 2010) Base on Byrne work (2014); it indicated that some teachers in the business school have little or even no work experience.
