The purpose of this paper is to provide a strategic plan update for the Kudler Fine Foods organization. The strategic plan update will include a revised organization mission, vision and values statement for the Kudler Fine Foods organization.
Strategic plan
Kudler’s updated strategic plan is to expand its services and increase efficiency. Kudler has a main focus on the customer because Kudler knows that customers are the backbone of the business. Kathy Kudler knows where she wants to take the company. According to Tsiros and Heilman (2005), a food business has to rely on the expiration dates on food and produce to have an effective promotional strategy. Because Kudler advertises that they only sell the finest and freshest products, she respects the expiration dates of the food and produce she offers.
Mission Statement
The definition of a mission statement is the organization's purpose and primary objectives. The purpose of the mission statement is to define the key measure or measures of the organization’s success. If the mission statement is good, it provides strategic vision and direction for the company by using goals and objectives. The mission of Kudler Fine Foods is to provide finest selection of their foods and wines. The purpose of the mission statement is ensure that Kudler provides the best food and beverage value that they can find anywhere as well as to provide the company with the information required for informed buying decisions.
Vision Statement
